We recently met up with Alex Laufersweiler, owner of Brother Joes Peanuts here in Ohio. He has developed an amazing line of gourmet flavored peanuts and needed a website capable of selling these products online. His old website was more of an online business card. With our innovative style and elegant approach to web development, we were able to launch his new look at www.BrotherJoesPeanuts.com. We also created a Facebook and Twitter page for his business to stay in touch with their customers. His website will automatically post to his social media accounts anytime he makes an update to his website, how cool is that?

Ivan’s Construction

This week at Dry Rain Media we designed a website and business cards for a new construction company here in Dayton, Ohio. This was a very exciting project for us to work on because not only did we design their website, but we designed all of their business cards and letter head as well. Ivan’s Construction prides themselves on long lasting relationships just like Dry Rain Media, so we knew this would be a great fit for both companies. This site is still undergoing some minor picture changes, but for the most part is online and fully functional. We combined a strong business sense with some warm and creative graphics to help set Ivan and his company apart from the rest.

U.S. Savings Comes Back

Dr. Manocha Site Upgrade

We met Dr. Vivek Manocha thanks to another BNI member. His site was in need of some finishing thanks to his last web developer leaving him with an unfinished website. We happily stepped in, assessed the coding from the previous web developer, and finished his website in the same form it started. He did have the extra request that the header have a scrolling text block that was different for each page. It was a great project to work on and we’re happy to see it online at http://www.PainManagementOhio.com/.

Lawn-Plus Website

Lawn-Plus Owner, and fellow BNI member, Rodney Creech enjoyed his last experience with Dry Rain, a bi-fold brochure expressing the dangers of the emerald ash borer [EAB], that he asked DRM to revamp his website. His old look needed a little work. Being that it had been forever since he’s touched his website, we did a lot of discussing of upgrades.

His new look is much cleaner. Not only is the interface more user-friendly, but we were able to spread a lot of information across a nice layout, with cool graphics to compliment it.

Big Yellow Towing Cards

We designed these business cards for Big Yellow Towing and had them printed with our amazing printer in Downtown Dayton, Think Printing.

They asked for a few specifics and we decided that the best way to represent those requests would be with some vector/silhouette shapes.

What? A VEGAN RESTAURANT IN DAYTON, OHIO?! Yes, it is true. And they chose Dry Rain Media to be their web developers, marketing strategists, and graphic designers. We’ve also created, and currently maintain, their Facebook account with a Free Food Friday promotion. Each Friday we post a Vegan based question on their Facebook account and reward the first correct answer with FREE VEGAN FOOD from The Loving Hut Dayton.

This logo and business card were created from scratch with no specific instructions. Picture Perfect Lawncare gave Dry Rain Media full creative reign with this project. We must say, it turned out very well as a logo and as a business card.

Oasis

We received a call from our friend Maria over at our printing partner Think Printing asking us to design a logo and a business card for her friend’s company, The Oasis. The Oasis is a delivering company based out of, and around, Dayton, Ohio.

When we heard the clever name, The Oasis, our minds went wild with thoughts of mirages and bright, bold colors. For sake of not beating a dead horse, here’ the business card encompassing both the logo and the card design. Please leave a comment and let us know what you think.

This last week Dry Rain Media met with local, Dayton celebrity Trudy Krisher. Trudy has been with us since before the days of DRM and has always been a blessing.

Trudy sat down with us and discussed the options of upgrading her website, handing out her business cards, and gaining some work as a speaker. With her life experiences, some of which being explained through her books like Kathy’s Hats, Trudy has a lot to share with the world.

Sitting down with her is always a pleasure and we finally were able to get a picture with one of our favorite clients. Watch out Dayton, this powerhouse of intelligence is breaking through and taking over.

Fellow BNI member Andrew Stallard started his own branch of American Family Insurance. He came to Dry Rain Media to design a logo with specifications that we make the roof into the letter “A” representation his first initial.

With the completion of the logo, the next step was business cards. He wanted to make sure his logo was on their right next to the American Family Insurance logo. A sense of elegance was needed as well as colors that would catch your attention.
